Bob ZeidmanBob Zeidman is the president and founder of Zeidman Consulting, a premiere contract research and development firm in Silicon Valley that now focuses on consulting to law firms about intellectual property disputes. Since 1983, Bob has designed computer chips and circuit boards for RISC-based parallel processor systems, laser printers, network switches and routers, and other complex systems. His clients have included Apple Computer, Cisco Systems, Cadence Design Systems, Intel, and Texas Instruments. Bob has worked on and testified in cases involving billions of dollars in disputed intellectual property. Bob is also the president and founder of Software Analysis and Forensic Engineering Corporation, the leading provider of software intellectual property analysis tools. Bob is considered a pioneer in the field of analyzing software source code, having created the CodeSuite® program for detecting software intellectual property theft that is sold by SAFE Corp, which has been profitable since its founding in 2007 and is growing in both revenue and employee count. Previously Bob was the president and founder of Zeidman Technologies where he invented the patented SynthOS™ program for automatically generating real-time software. Before that, Bob was the president and founder of The Chalkboard Network, an e-learning company that put high-end business and technology courses from well-known authorities on the Web. Before that Bob invented the concept of remote backup and started Evault, one of the first remote backup companies. Bob is a prolific writer and instructor, giving seminars at conferences around the world. Among his publications are numerous articles on engineering and business as well as three textbooks: Designing with FPGAs and CPLDs, Verilog Designer's Library, and Introduction to Verilog. Bob holds seven patents and earned two bachelor's degrees, in physics and electrical engineering, from Cornell University and a master's degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University. |
